When I realized that one month of my entry level salary at the Federal Government from Canada could hire 30 people back in Benin, my home country, I knew it was time for me to take action!

In 2019, I resigned from my permanent job, and went back to Bohicon, Benin, the city where I was raised.

There, I created the project BP100: Make Bohicon the cleanest city in Benin, West Africa by 2025.

Here is why:

The streets are filthy. Generations of people in Bohicon, like in most places in Africa, are used to throwing their household garbage out on the street.

Decades of debris are everywhere. Not only it’s the main cause of most infectious diseases, but it also keeps people poor. No investor wants to create their business in such a nasty environment.

In fact, would you ever want to open your food business ?or even cellphone store near one of those trash piles?

I assume your answer is NO.

I believe that’s the true source of poverty in Africa. Dirty, uninviting places that makes everyone feel like saying NO.

In consequence, there is almost no job for the young people, and they are bored to death.

How to change that NO into a YES?

It’s simple: make the place CLEAN and WELCOMING.

That’s why I decided to help people change this dirty habit by cleaning the streets. By doing that, we will restore the beauty of the city and attract more health, joy and prosperity.

In September 2019, I gathered a group of 25 young guys and girls. Every weekend for 6 weeks, we had fun together, cleaning, laughing and screaming on the streets. To rewards the volunteers, I bought them food after every event.

We really had a blast. We had so much fun that it became contagious around us. We brightened up the day of people passing by.

A few things shocked me at that point.

1- How genuinely happy the volunteers were. They showed up every week-end.

2- How much food I could get for $1. The plates were full!

Believe me, it was the happiest time of my life. From then, I was hooked and only wanted to do more and more.

I knew that if I made people enjoy their time with me, we could clean the entire city.

I figured 25 volunteers would be far from enough to make big and sustainable changes in the culture like I was envisioning.

So, I created my non profit called COSED , and started working to launch BP100. It will be the Largest Community Cleaning Project in the entire country. Every week-end, 500 young men and women, will be on the streets in a party atmosphere, to remove all the piles of debris around the City of Bohicon. We will have fun, and there will be good food involved! A total of 260,000 hours of work and fun through 5 years.

My goal is to get a official seal from the president of Benin in 2025. The tittle of Bohicon Cleanest City in the Country.

POWER IN YOUR HANDS

This was me back at my desk in Canada. Constantly Bored, i had no idea how much I could impact the world. Even though I had a great job, I was missing that sense of fulfillment. I felt like they could be more to life than « bus-ing » to work in order to pay my car loan and my phone bill. Yes, I was a bit dramatic, but I think you get my point. I took action as soon as I discovered what I could do in Africa. Especially when I realized how fun it was for me and the people.

In Africa, $80 is the one-month salary, and most people live off $2 a day.

With project BP100 I will be able to impact people directly with food, decent work and fun.

I want you to join me in this adventure and participate in something great. Together, we can fight poverty, hunger, infectious diseases, and many more in a single action: BP100.

With your help we will be able to:

- Distribute 130,000 plates of food during our 5 years of cleaning activities.

- Distribute 38,300 trash bins for the households in Bohicon, to help them refuse their trash better.

- Create 100 jobs for young guys and girls in the city of Bohicon.

This is a unique offer that will give you the sense of fulfillment that you have been looking for.

To thank you, you will get exclusive access to video contents on the cleaning activities and more. You get to discover Benin through BP100.

To buy your membership package and have fun with us on project BP100, click here.

From the comfort of your home or on your smartphone, we hope that you will enjoy your time with us on this project.

The goal of BP100 is to use city cleaning as leverage to create economic development and fix many issues that we seem to struggle with worldwide. Here are our 6 objectives

- Help prevent pandemics by fighting the spread of infectious diseases right at the root.

- Promote good practices for waste management

- Promote economic growth by creating recycling industry

- Reduce poverty among the youth in Bohicon

- Promote gender equality and empowering women

- Increase food security

How much power do you really have ?

When I launched BP100, I faced so much rejection from foundations, governments etc. And you know why ? The project is just too simple for them. They are used complex documents, two years of financial statements, etc... This would mean that I had to wait at least two years before feeding people and get them to do fun work.

I couldn't wait that long. We live in a faster world now, and people can directly fund something that they believe in.

With BP100, I figured, I rather give YOU that power. You and I can make changes faster than larger companies and governments. Can you imagine ?

And on top of that, you get to know new cultures around the world, thanks to the Internet.

So use your power to impact the world directly.

What you will get from it:

Here is what we do once you take action and purchase our memberships:

- We assign your money to feed one volunteer for one full year. Feeding a volunteer (1plate+ 1drink) costs a little under $2 per event, and we have events all year (52 week-ends)

- We buy the equipment for the activities. It only cost $3 per event to equip a volunteer.

- We send you weekly contents to show you the work and fun that you brought to us. **

- We send you weekly contents on life in Benin, our cultures, our dances, our food. **

- We enrol you into our "Get Matched"program** where you get to communicate directly with hundreds of people from Benin, making friends, and feeling the full immersion in this foreign culture.

In these quarantine days, this is the perfect get away for you. You get to travel and visit Benin directly from your phone and at a fraction of the price, while helping people impact the world. WOW!!!

Why is this so important?

The situation of garbage piles in Bohicon exist also in most countries in Africa and in India.

Now imagine that we succeeded in Bohicon.

Imagine what it would mean for all those cities around the world.

Imagine how many people we can save from diseases, poverty, etc!

This is our time to make changes together because you are valuable to the world.

So many people can be freed from this with a simple action like BP100.

Choose your plan now, and proudly enjoy the changes that you are making with so little.

Don't forget, you have more power than you think. Dare to dream big! I did, and it's really fun.

**: as we are launching BP100 on December 5th, 2020, some of the exclusive contents will be produced between December 2020 and March 2021. Bear with us, as our priority is to equip and feed the volunteers to get the job done.
